About Western Park
The Western Park Complex is located on thirty-two acres in downtown Vernal. The multipurpose facility houses a convention center, two indoor arenas, two outdoor arenas, amphitheater, ice rink and race track. It is home to the Uintah County Fair, Uintah Basin Junior Livestock Show, Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo, Tournament of Champions High School Wrestling Tournament and many more state and county annual events.

Western Park complex provides TWO INDOOR ARENAS and TWO OUTDOOR ARENAS. The large INDOOR ARENA has played host to a variety of events. It’s perfect for a rodeo, livestock show/sale, trade shows and concerts with seating to accommodate up to 3,000 spectators. The MAIN OUTDOOR STADIUM ARENA features covered seating along with additional accommodating up to 6,500 spectators. The stadium plays host to our nationally known PRCA Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo. The arena is perfect for all equestrian events along with the versatility of hosting demolition derby, monster trucks, & truck pulls.
Convention Rooms
The multipurpose convention center will accommodate up to 650 for banquet services and 900 people with theater seating. The convention area will open into one large room or separate into four smaller rooms for meetings to be held simultaneously. The facility has two full service kitchens to meet all your catering needs featuring local caterers with a wide variety of menu options. The convention rooms have drop down screens and ceiling mounted projectors for your AV needs. We feature cushioned seating along with a variety of table size and shapes for both meetings and banquets.

The amphitheater provides a beautiful backdrop for outdoor concerts, pageants and theaters. The setting makes it the perfect venue for a summer evening performance to be enjoyed in an outdoor venue. Spectator seating accommodates 600 in fixed seating with overflow seating on the grass berm area along the side. Home to the Outlaw Trail Festival, an outdoor musical production enjoyed during June each year, a favorite of locals and visitors alike.
The home of the Vernal Oilers, Uintah Utes, and Ashley Valley Armature Hockey Association who offers hockey programs for all ages. The rink is a favorite from October to March to host private parties along with open skate for the public. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram for up to date schedules and any changes.
